The Status of Cannabis Legalization in Ohio

Marijuana is classified as a Schedule I substance in Ohio, consistent with federal classification. Possession of fewer than 100 grams is considered a minor misdemeanor, punishable by a 150 USD fine. Penalties for cultivation of marijuana are the same as those for possessing an equivalent amount, in weight, of marijuana.
