Kirstin Ruck has established herself as a Pharmacist who builds solid customer relationships and delivers exceptional service. She is State of Connecticut-licensed with experience delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in retail settings by combining clinical skills with business acumen and a proven ability to grow pharmacy revenues.

Kirstin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and is a member of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association. With over 20 years’ experience in the field, her skills include retail pharmacy operations, drug utilization review, quality assurance checks, inventory control, promoting and participating in health and wellness events, patient counseling, and compliance and adherence reviews.

Kirstin holds extensive experience managing ancillary staff in filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions weekly. Regularly, she consults with physicians and patients with regard to medication dosage, drug interactions, therapy recommendations and potential side effects of prescription and OTC medications. She dispenses prescriptions, maintains accurate patient records, dosing information and directions for use according to professional standards and legal requirements. Holding a certification in immunization, Kirstin administers immunizations weekly and organizes immunization drives annually for local businesses. She keeps abreast of new developments within the pharmaceutical industry. Kirstin is currently participating in several online medical marijuana classes. These programs provide clinical and therapeutic indications, pharmacology, contraindications, dosing and routes of administration, along with other pertinent information in the medical use of marijuana.
