In December 2016, Nature’s Care and Wellness, LLC (“Nature’s Care”) received pre-approval from the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (“MMCC”) to open and operate a medical cannabis dispensary in Senatorial District 35.  After an extensive search, Nature’s Care entered into an agreement to lease approximately 2,600 sq. feet of space within the Martin Plaza Center located at 4925A Pulaski Highway in Perryville. Nature’s Care was formed in 2014. For years, the principals of Nature’s Care have committed themselves to study and understanding the medical cannabis industry and the many benefits that medical cannabis can provide to its patients. Nature’s Care is dedicated to providing compassionate healthcare to its patients in a safe and welcoming setting.  It is also intent on serving the Perryville community and surrounding areas as a responsible, reliable and involved business. Nature’s Care is headed by Robert Windsor and William Vernall, all Maryland residents.  Mr. Windsor is an executive with a successful mortgage company in White Marsh while Mr. Vernall, his father, is coming out of retirement after a career in project management.  Together they will serve as the executive team of the company.
