First State Compassion - Lewes is a medical marijuana industry pioneer and a charter member of the Delaware Marijuana Task Force. It operates Delaware’s first licensed medical marijuana distribution center and the State’s first and largest cannabis growing facility. Our locations in Wilmington and Lewes improve the quality of life of Delawareans by offering medical marijuana products that help manage pain and alleviate suffering. First State Compassion - Lewis received Delaware’s first license to dispense medical cannabis in 2014. We built a 47,000 sq. ft. facility in Wilmington with 19 marijuana cultivation rooms, an extraction lab and a dispensary. The facility opened in June 2015 and a second dispensary, FSC Lewes, opened in Lewes in May 2017. Our expert cultivators follow stringent guidelines to produce consistent, safe, high-quality medication.
