NEW JERSEY

Ascend currently has one location open in Montclair, formerly Greenleaf Compassion Center, and has plans to open two additional state-of-the-art retail locations in the emerging New Jersey market. In the spring of 2021, we plan to open our second store in Rochelle Park (Paramus-area) and later in the year our flagship store in Hoboken. Ascend is excited to bring a world-class cannabis experience to New Jersey consumers.

ACTIVISM

Ascend and Last Prisoner Project While we understand and appreciate how fortunate we are to be in a position to help build and guide the future of modern cannabis, we are also acutely aware of the lives that have been destroyed, especially in minority communities, through decades of unjust laws and inequitable enforcement. There are currently over 40,000 nonviolent criminals sitting in prison for cannabis offenses. This costs taxpayers billions of dollars per year and has done immeasurable damage to the families of the incarcerated. We think this is unacceptable, which is why we have teamed up with the Last Prisoner Project through a donation match in 2020.
