The founder was inspired to dive into the world of extractions after meeting a couple of cool cats at Seattle’s CannaCon. He took the information he learned back to Michigan to dive into development. Coming up with the money for lab equipment was a daunting hurdle, but the founder’s commitment to producing the best marijuana extractions pushed through. The founder is grateful for everything cannabis taught him. While learning to master extractions, he realized science cannot be rushed and the devil is in the details. The founder’s desire to produce the best medical marijuana extractions supersedes profits, - The Distillate Company places patients' best interest and well-being far above all else.   The Distillate Company sources its flowers from several cannabis farms throughout Michigan and processes their extracts using an alcohol-based method that results in an RSO crude base. From there, the extraction is filtered and carbon scrubbed to prepare it for distillation. The Distillate Company’s several-step process results in pure, potent, and consistent marijuana concentrate.   Products The Distillate Company offers concentrates that rival major extraction companies in clarity and potency using starting locally-sourced materials and a less expensive process. The quality does not end with the oil. The Distillate Company cartridges are very difficult to burn. This is because their wickless cartridges make it possible to keep the oil going throughout the rotation without any harsh hits. Their quartz atomizer allows thicker, viscous marijuana oil to decarboxylate without the problem of overheating or burning a wick.   Lab Testing   The Distillate Company cannabis products are submitted to PSI Labs for analysis of potency and residual solvents and the occasional terpene analysis.
