David, an Air Force veteran and Dive Instructor, has always been intentional about the ingredients he puts into his body, whether it is the food he eats or the supplements he uses for optimum mental and physical health. Throughout his personal travels, and in the military, he discovered how effective herbal medicine can be when used appropriately.  Once he returned to the states, he took a deeper look into holistic alternatives to help alleviate his daily aches and pains, especially after a long day of scuba diving. He now uses acupuncture and alternates between an array of herbal remedies, which have provided him with long term relief. One of his favorite products to use regularly is the Hemp Salve for sore muscles. Being pain free gives him the freedom to continue his active lifestyle and travel the world without anything holding him back. 

Kat is a creative artist who also pursued her passion for marine biology. She has always been a nature lover and an environmentalist and saw an opportunity to combine her two passions into Rogue Apothecary. Even though she has only been actively seeking her herbalism degrees for a couple of years, she has been using or making her own herbal and hemp remedies for nearly 20 years and sharing her creations with friends and family. She has intricate knowledge of how plant medicine and herbs synergistically work together to be as effective as possible. Through curating the perfect herbal blends she gets to use her creative mind and plant knowledge to make high quality small batch handcrafted herbal products for her community and beyond. She also makes sustainability a priority in the business – from where the herbs are harvested from to the packing materials being used in shipping. 

Together, David and Kat founded Rogue Apothecary to share their knowledge and love of herbal medicine. They believe in the potential of alternative healing properties of the plant world and have first hand experiences of how herbal remedies have changed their lives for the better. They are committed to sharing this knowledge and providing only the best herbal and hemp products to their customers.
