Ian Barringer

FOUNDER

Ian Barringer received an ScB degree from Brown University in Neural Sciences and a JD degree, cum laude, from Boston College Law School. He was also a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School. He spent much of his career in the finance industry, and is happy to now put his education and training to productive use. He has been a member of several State and industry commissions shaping the regulations affecting the industry, including the Governor's Amendment 64 Consumer Safety Working Group and the MED HB14-1366 Edibles Working Group. He is currently also Vice Chair of the Cannabis Laboratories Council.

Alena Rodriguez

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Alena Rodriguez received her B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Florida Atlantic University. Before joining the cannabis industry, Alena worked in molecular biology, analytical chemistry, and neuroscience labs. She joined Rm3 Labs in 2016 as the Lead Microbiologist. Then, she served as the lab’s Quality Manager and led the lab’s efforts to become ISO 17025 accredited. In her current position, she manages the lab’s daily operations and works with governmental agencies and stakeholders to advance cannabis regulations. Alena has been a member of several marijuana and hemp regulatory groups and is currently the Process Validation Task Group Leader of the MED and CDPHE's Marijuana Science & Policy Work Group. She is the Recording Secretary of the Laboratory Subcommittee of ASTM International's Committee D37 on Cannabis, a member of AOAC International's Cannabis Analytical Science Program (CASP) Microbiology Working Group, and a member of NCIA’s Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC).

Zach Linder

LABORATORY DIRECTOR

Zach Linder received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Colorado State University. He joined Rm3 Labs in October 2017 and worked in the HPLC Potency department as an Analyst and Lead Analyst until 2021, when he was promoted to   Chemistry Lab Manager. In his current role as the Laboratory Director, he oversees all scientific operations for Rm3 Labs. Before joining Rm3 Labs, he worked in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries as an Analytical Chemist and Lab Supervisor for four and a half years. Zach is passionate about science, and enjoys spending his free time playing board games, reading, and hanging out with friends.

Kelly Barringer

CO-FOUNDER

Kelly Barringer holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. She has spent much of her career working as a art director in advertising firms, where she learned the ins and outs of business. As a medical card holder since 2009, she maintains a passion to bring cannabis into mainstream society as a legitimate and safe medicine. She's excited to be influencing this industry at such an important time in its development.

Lucas Calloway

QUALITY MANAGER

Lucas is from Michigan and went to Central Michigan University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology. After school, he relocated to Chicago for a short time before moving to Albuquerque, where he worked as a Quality Control Microbiologist and eventually a Lab Analyst in the cannabis industry. Before joining Rm3 Labs, Lucas worked for a beverage manufacturer as a Quality Assurance Coordinator. In his current role, he oversees the quality management system and is the liaison for external audits with regulators and accreditation bodies. Lucas has been living in Denver, CO for two years and on his free time loves going on hikes, camping, and hanging out with his friends. He is enthusiastic about learning new things and gaining new skill sets.

Bobby Teixeira

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER & OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Bobby obtained his B.S. in Organizational Management, with a minor in Spanish from Northern Illinois University. Over his 17+ year career, he has gained vast management experience throughout the real estate, tech startup, international logistics and cannabis markets. During his time with Rm3 Labs and the cannabis space, he has applied a blend of organizational development, leadership training and a focus on colleague/team growth. His ultimate pursuit is continuous strategic planning coupled with a passion to advocate the legitimacy of the cannabis plant across the globe. He feels grateful to work with such a diversely talented and forward thinking group at Rm3 Labs and is excited for what the future holds for our evolving team and the cannabis industry as a whole!
