The Green Deck with its incredible 360º view of both sunrise & sunset offers an amazing opportunity for photographers. The pitch darkness also makes for excellent moon- and starscapes photography or for a relaxing sundowner or morning coffee.
Long walks on the beach are a must, but the Eastern Cape is the Adventure Province and hiking, biking, mountain biking, horse riding, surfing, kite surfing, fishing competitions, kayaking, a round of golf, game viewing, the annual Wild Coast Jikeleza Festival, market days, microlight & helicopter trips, quad biking, zip-lining, beer tasting …. all of this can be found within a 15 minute drive from the lodge.
The breathtakingly Hole in the Wall is a 3-4 hour drive away. Madiba’s village of birth, Qunu, is only 2 hours away, as is the Graham's Town Arts Festival. There is also a vibrant art scene in Chintsa. During December there’s a joyous holiday vibe all around, and we let our hair down. As for the rest of the year, you’ll find the peace & quiet here truly magical and healing.
