These independent lab tests verify the presence of active ingredients such as cannabinoids and terpenes and confirm that each batch does not contain any heavy metals, pesticides, residual solvents, or microbacteria.

Oleg MaryAces - Co-Founder and Director of Education

A cannabis industry veteran with over 10 years in the field, Oleg's goal is to educate the public about the plant compounds in Lock & Key products and how they interact with the human body. He hails from Odessa, Ukraine, and immigrated to New York with his family in 1994. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Baruch College and is a well-respected member of the cannabis community, known for his leadership in promoting non-toxic, all-natural, plant-derived medicine. Oleg is often quoted by journalists and authors and is always happy to serve as a resource for those looking to expand cannabis education. 

Andres Moreira - Co-Founder and Director of Product Development 

Andres formulates and creates all of Lock & Key products. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Andres comes from a multi-generational line of herbalists and learned about the benefits of nontraditional herbal treatments from his mother, whose herbal wisdom comes from her rural Colombian heritage. Andres was inspired to start working in the cannabis industry when his father was diagnosed with cancer. He enjoys delving into the latest scientific research pertaining to plant-derived ingredients and applying his learnings to create the most effective formulations.

Andrew Shattuck - Director of Operations 

Andrew oversees all of Lock & Key business functions, including growth and profitability, costs and expenses, staff management, production, and human resources. Andrew grew up in New Jersey and has a degree in environmental business economics with a focus on agricultural products and natural resources from Rutgers University. Prior to joining the Lock & Key team, Andrew previously ran and operated a growing facility in California’s legal cannabis market. 

Hernan Suazo - Director of Technology 

Hernan oversees our technical infrastructure, eliminates web-based security risks, and manages the Lock & Key ecommerce platform. Hernan is regarded as a leading cybersecurity expert who is passionate about teaching the next generation of cybersecurity specialists.
