History: The seeds for CEID were planted by two best friends from San Diego, California. Shane and Chad have had a lifelong passion for cannabis. They entered the marijuana industry when they started a delivery service, bringing medical cannabis products to San Diego patients who needed alternatives to prescription medications. This was a mission that was true to their hearts, as Chad’s father suffered from MS and began to use cannabis to medicate. It was during this time they fell in love with concentrates and extraction. They experimented and researched the best methods, new techniques, and evolving technology. They became obsessed (Shane got a degree in Chemistry as a result of their work). For two straight years they studied the science and art behind concentrates and started CEID to share their knowledge and products with the rest of the cannabis community. Process: It’s hard to master and perfect extraction, but that doesn’t stop CEID from trying. Their passion for constant improvement is unmatched. They utilize light hydrocarbon extraction through a closed loop machine, and short path distillation when producing distillates. They work with one of the top cultivators in San Diego, using premium, organic flower when extracting. Their obsession for making the best tasting, lightest looking concentrates has led them to HTFSE and HCFSE extraction, producing concentrates with incredibly high ratios of terpenes and cannabinoids. Products: CEID concentrates include the most potent and pure forms of cannabis available on the market. From shatter to distillate and crystalline, their concentrates are celebrated for their flavor, potency, and purity. They won “Best Shatter” at 2015’s San Diego Cannabis Professionals Cup. In addition to their award-winning concentrates, CEID has also developed a delicious edible in Peanut Butter Creamy, an infused peanut butter with 125mg of creamy cannabis goodness. Lab Testing: CEID tests with an array of analytical cannabis laboratories to ensure quality and consistency. They work with SC Labs, Pharm Labs, Steephill, and Cannasafe Analytics to test for cannabinoid profiles (potency), pesticides, microbial, RST, and terpene profiles.
