Hello, my name is Eric and I am the creator/owner of CBD Education Online. I first learned about CBD in 2013 when my grandma’s arthritis pain got so bad, that the doctor put her on high-strength opioid medications. These medications eased her pain but turned her into a lifeless zombie. Distraught, and missing the life-filled lady I knew and loved, I searched everywhere to find an alternative. It wasn’t long before I came across a compound called CBD, or Cannabidiol. For months I researched all of the studies performed on CBD and convinced my family that it was worth a shot.
After the first dose of CBD, my grandma already started noticing positive effects. She claimed that it helped her sleep better, and made certain areas of her body free of pain. It didn’t take away her arthritis pain completely, but it became manageable and she didn’t need to take her opioid medications anymore.
My journey with CBD did not end there. During my M.S. in Chemical / Biochemical Engineering Management program, I submitted a proposal to my university’s startup competition in Southern California. My idea was to create a company called CBDeluxe that infused CBD oil into dog treats, allowing dogs with arthritis, epilepsy, cancer, and other illnesses to experience relief. Unfortunately, I didn’t win the competition or receive any funding, but I made it to the final round and learned a ton about CBD in the process.
