OUR FARM
We have a passion for growing high-quality cannabis!
Our Farm arose from an abandoned rock quarry on the bank of the Columbia River in the Wenatchee Valley of Central Washington. It is now the home to our state-of-the-art 24,000 square-foot greenhouse facility. We approached the farm buildout the same way we approach everything...with a dedication to quality and craftsmanship. It took us 7 months from clearing and grading the land, to get the final inspection, but we built it by hand and we built it with pride. We have gathered up a bunch of hard-working farmers, the Squatch Squad, and are now one of the top producers and processors in Washington State. We have been featured in Leafly, Seattle's finest newspaper The Stranger, Marijuana Venture, Sungrower and Greenhouse magazine, and many more.
None of our plants are grown outdoors, only inside our greenhouses using Controlled Environmental Agriculture techniques. Our facilities allow us to utilize the full light spectrum of the sun, as nature intended. We also have the benefit of a fully integrated environmental control system that is responsible for maintaining the ideal temperature, humidity, and airflow. The sun doesn't shine as bright on the snowy winter days, so we have equipped our facility to utilize 240,000 watts of supplemental lighting, and 1.2 Million BTUs of heating for extra control and consistency.
Curating high-quality cannabis means dedication to controlling pest and disease exposure. We use organic methods for pest/disease prevention, specifically by creating a biodiverse environment that utilizes beneficial insects and predatory mites as sustainable methods of pest prevention.
For vigorous healthy growth, plants need strong roots. It all starts with the soil, and we use some of the best soil available. It is a balanced medium with excellent characteristics such as a perfect ph balance, great drainage, and antimicrobial properties. Then we use high-quality nutrients to help promote optimal growth. We finish off with a pure water flush to leach out any excess nutrients. Once harvested and dried we store all of our flowers in food-grade containers with humidity control packs to ensure our flower continues to cure. the curing process is critical as it is responsible for enhancing our desired aroma, flavors, and terpenes. Our flower remains to cure until we get an order from your local retailer, as everything is packaged to order. Packaging this way is more labor intensive, but it ensures our flower is always fresh on the shelf, just like you want it!
